Millions of people would probably benefit from making the transition from hostile self-criticism to compassionate self-correction. But how do we best help them? How can we tap into and develop their motivation for change, whilst building hope, increasing their self-efficacy and navigating any fears, blocks and resistances that emerge?
Motivational Interviewing (MI) is a theory driven, evidence-based conversational style which seems to deliver better outcomes when used in combination with other approaches (Anstiss, T., 2025. From surviving to thriving: An integrated approach to health and wellbeing coaching. Coaching Psychologist, 20(3).). These webinars will help deepen CFT practitioners understanding of what MI is and ways in which it might be blended with CFT to help deliver better client outcomes.
